Francesca Nocera concluded a demanding 2025 season with an impressive third-place finish in the Women’s FIM EnduroGP World Championship, demonstrating her trademark determination and skill aboard the Honda CRF250RX.
The championship finale took place in Zschopau, a town nestled at the foot of the Ore Mountains in Germany’s Saxony region and entering the final round within striking distance of the title, Francesca gave everything in her bid to challenge her
main rivals for the top step of the podium.
She made a strong statement in Friday’s indoor Super Test, delivering a fearless ride on her Honda CRF250RX. Roared on by the crowd, she stormed to the fastest time among the women - an impressive nine seconds ahead of the field.
Saturday brought a true test of endurance, with muddy conditions across the forest and field sections demanding maximum focus and control, as Francesca rose to the challenge, finishing the day second overall, just 1’28” behind the leader.
However, her charge was brought to an early end on the final day when a stone struck her bike during the transfer section between tests, resulting in mechanical damage that forced her to withdraw from the event.
Although disappointed not to fight through to the very end, Francesca’s consistency and resilience throughout the season earned her the final step on the Women’s FIM EnduroGP World Championship podium - a fitting reward for a year of grit and perseverance.
Francesca Nocera 🎙
“Just after the start on Sunday, while heading through the transfer, a stone hit my clutch and broke it, so I was unable to continue. I’m gutted because I know I had the speed to win the World Championship, but I’m also proud of what I’ve achieved despite the bad luck I faced this season. I made sure never to give up, which reflects my true love for this sport and the strong mentality I carry.
I’m now focused on repairing my knee so I can be 100% ready for 2026, where I aim to fight for the title again. I want to thank everyone for their support - this medal is for all of you as well.”
