This year’s 99th edition of the FIM International Six Days Enduro was extra special for Francesca Nocera, as the world’s best riders descended on her hometown of Bergamo, set at the foothills of the Italian Alps, for the sport’s toughest endurance challenge.

Lining up alongside fellow female riders Sara Traini and Asia Volpi for Team Italy, Francesca pushed hard across the demanding tests that wound through Bergamo’s rugged hills and surrounding valleys. After six intense days of racing her Honda 250 4T, she helped her team secure a strong fourth place in the Women’s World Trophy standings. On an individual level, she shone as the top European rider, finishing fourth overall, just three seconds shy of the podium - a remarkable result as she continues her recovery from injury.

It was a stellar performance from Francesca, who will carry this momentum into the next FIM Enduro World Championship round in September. With the red plate still in her grasp, Francesca now sets her sights on Portugal, confident that the spirit of racing on home soil in Bergamo will fuel her for the battles ahead.

“It’s been an emotional week racing the Six Days in my hometown. The support from the crowd was incredible and having my family there made it even more special. Despite my knee injury, I managed to be among the fastest female riders in the world and I’m proud of myself for not giving up until the end. A big thank you to Honda Racing Corporation, the Italian Federation and everyone who supported me. Now, it’s time to focus on the Enduro GP World Championship.”
